This is a lovely Hotel in a Beautiful city, the staff was first class the room was very nice. The only drawback for some maybe you have to pay $12 a day for parking other than that a great trip!!

This room made me want to pack up my house and move in. The kitchen was so cute and fully functional. I loved that the bedroom and living areas were separate rooms. It was such a comfortable stay.

I have stayed here numerous times since the hotel opened in 2010 and I have never had a complaint. The rooms are large, clean with well-stocked kitchens. The hotel is convenient to the highways and is two blocks from Portsmouth's wonderful downtown area. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Parking is across from the hotel in a public lot and, yes, you have to play. That isn't an issue for me; parking isn't complimentary at many hotels these days. I have stayed in other hotels in the Portsmouth area and none can match this Residence Inn in level of accomodations and service. This is the only place to stay in Porstmouth.

If you are visiting Portsmouth for business or pleasure and you prefer an all-suites hotel this is a very good choice. It is located right downtown, within walking distance of innumerable restaurants and lots of shopping. It is also very close to the water. The suite we had was small but adequate for 2 people with a nice kitchen and bath. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of choices and the food was fresh. They also offer food on some evenings. There is a small bar. The exercise room and pool were not fancy but were clean and adequate. You do have to pay extra for parking, but since parking is tight in downtown Portsmouth you would end up paying anyway.
