This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. Our group should have paid more attention to the reviews here before booking. There were cockroaches both dead and alive in the room/hallways/pool-area. Western most doors into the hotel have a lock, but it did not function. As another reviewer already noted, the hot tub jets do not work. Late checkout was not allowed. Front desk was very unfriendly when confronted about the cockroaches. I asked to speak with a manager and instead they gave me a pad of paper and asked me to write him a note. I did, and also provided him contact info but I have not heard back. Very dirty, and very unfriendly. The diving at Blue Hole is highly recommended, but look elsewhere for a place to stay.

This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. We paid over $* to stay in the Baymont Inn and Suites and I highly recommend that you look elsewhere in Santa Rosa for lodging.

When we first checked in to the hotel we noticed that our room had a rather unpleasant smell. We figured that turning on the air conditioning would help with the smell, so we turned it on full blast. Several hours later we returned to the room after scuba diving and not only did the room still smell bad, but the air conditioning wasn't working. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is that they managed to move us to a room where the air conditioning was working.

The most disgusting thing about this hotel is the fact that it is infested with cockroaches. We saw dead cockroaches in the hallway and in the pool area. We even saw a few live cockroaches roaming around. We didn't see any in our room, but our neighbors two doors down had several cockroaches in their room.

We were also looking forward to enjoying the hot tub - no such luck. The hot tub was hot, but the jets didn't work.

Moral of the story - don't stay here! Take your $*+ dollars/night and spend it somewhere else in Santa Rosa.

The place was clean and new. But breakfast wasn't served until 6:30 and there was no coffee, no frig, and no microwave. Just a nights sleep and I needed to hit the highway by 6:00 but had no breakfast. I won't go back in a couple weeks, I will choose elsewhere.

The light in our bathroom didn't work, but one of the ladies at the frnt desk went to check it (bad fuse). The breakfast area had plenty of selection. The room had everything we needed, plus a safe box.
