The desk clerk's command of English was limited and his accent was very heavy. The outside of the building needs some clean up and painting, the room was attractive and comfortable. I would stay here again.

My husband & I rented a room to catch some much needed sleep during a road trip (1/5/11). We were given an upper level room (261), apparently adjacent to a nightclub, but we were never told this upon checking in & it was not obvious during our early afternoon check in. The club resembled a defunct restaurant during the daytime. At 10pm, music began to loudly blast from the adjacent restaurant/bar/nightclub into our room & no matter what we did to try to mask the noise the bass of music was palpable. While the daytime female clerk was very nice, she neglected to tell me about this potential noise source even though she knew we were checking to catch up some much needed sleep prior to hitting the road again the next morning at 6am. My first compliant to the evening desk clerk was ineffective. During my second attempt, he indicated there was nothing he could do. Upon my insistance to speak to a manager, he said none was available but he would call the owner. I was eventually offered me another room at the other end of the hotel, which would require my husband & I to get dressed, get out of bed, repack, and walk outside in the cold @ 11p to the other end of the hotel lugging all of our luggage and our dog (which were charged a $* pet fee for despite this room being a dump). He offered no other alternative solution and was incredibly rude, abusive, and not helpful. When asked for some sort of compensation for the noise inconvenience, he told me "I thought like dirt." I was eventually offered only $* off this horrible stay. Hands down...worst customer service ever and worst hotel ever.
