Upon arriving at the hotel, the hotel staff was very nice and welcoming. I did not have any trouble checking in. Room was ready. The room itself was comfortable and fresh. The hotel looks a little run down and only one elevator worked but the hotel offered breakfast in the morning and they had internet ready computers available to use. My overall stay was good. I would definitely book with this hotel again. My kids were very comfortable and enjoyed the amenities the hotel had to offer including the pool.

I have traveled to San Antonio many times over the year and stayed in the same hotel each time with the exception of this visit. I was trying to save some money and when I looked at the website photos and description of Budgetel Inn, it appeared nice, clean, and safe. Upon arrival, we saw the motel was clearly in disrepair. It was undergoing some renovations, however, much of the outside looked like an abandoned building. We changed rooms three times to find one I felt comfortable sleeping in. The rooms were old, dingy, dirty and smelled like stale cigarettes. The location was in a poor part of town and I would not have felt comfortable walking through the parking lot by myself. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate us as best they could. I will not ever stay at this motel again.

The hotel was not that clean, and it was not that quiet. The hotel promised wifi access, but it was very poor. We did not stay even one night, and ended up losing the entire three-day deposit. This is a true budget place.

I have stayed here a couple of times and enjoyed each time. I plan on staying here evertime I visit San Antonio. The Location is easy to get to a close to everything. Mall, Food, Gas, etc.
