Perfect holidays in Paradise

I had a fantastic time staying at Paradise Eco Resort. The location, accommodations, food and guest facilities where all very beautiful, well maintained and enhanced the relaxation of the guests. Everything is designed for the comfort and enjoyment of the guests but the best part was the incredible staff. They where all very friendly, fun loving and made the experience even more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been.
I look forward to going back and wish that I could spend a lot more time there.
The place to be !

The staff at Paradise was a nice surprise. They are mostly from the local area and clearly wish to do all they can to make your stay comfortable. Even though the resort seems to be far from Siem Reap (which is a real plus) there are actually several very interesting things to do in the area (hiking, swimming in the Baray, cruise on the Tonle Sap etc). They are so friendly! The meals so delicious... The bungalow was clean, spacious, and very cozy. The lodge has some very comfortable seating areas. We will definitely come back here!
A real Paradise !!!!

We group of seven guys stayed in this hotel. The rooms were good value, basic but clean. The swimming pool awesome ! We had a very pleasant stay there and food provided for us also was good, especially the organic salad. The room service staff -Ms Sokea- was excellent. Despite of being far from town it was indeed an excellent location, near the popular baray lake and 10 minutes only from the temples. We will recommend it to all our friends.
Excellent value !

My wife and I just returned from a week at the Paradise Eco resort in Siem reap, and we are already planning for our next visit. If you are looking for a place to truly enjoy nature, without the noise and distractions of modern life, this is the place for you.
As for accomodations and dining spots, I would first mention Paradise, which offers beautifully decorated bungalows -the rooms more basics-, and what many expatriates that we have met there say is the best food in Siem Reap. A bit far from the town (15 minutes by tuk-tuk), we found it is well located near the Baray lake and 10 minutes only from Angkor Wat. No need to cross the town everyday to join the temples, there is a direct road alongside the airport
The heart of our experience in Siem Reap came from our stay at the Paradise. The site is as ideal for nature lovers's and relaxing stay. The staff (particularly Sokea) were wonderfull taking great care of making our trip memorable. She organizes all our visits with perfect timing and good value. At night, we retired to our secluded bungalow, and listened to the tree frogs as we dropped off to sleep. As for the restaurant, we enjoyed their cambodian cuisine particularly their fresh salads, Ginger frogs and Lok Lak. The majority of the fruits, veggies, and herbs are organic grown 500 meteres of the site, so most everything is literally garden fresh.
Most importantly, we were priviledged to become friends with those who dreamed up the Ecolodge, and planned and worked hard to renovatyed and transform the site in an ecolodge make that dream a reality. They are truly loving and caring people, in addition to being stunningly talented. They and the other staff are all hard working, accomplished, positive people, and being around them and their realized dream was warmly inspiring.
So Siem reap is a wonderful place, for those that enjoy unfettered interaction nature and ethic. It doesn't have the amenities of the typical all-inclusive resort, nor the nightlife and partying that some associate with a tropical vacation spot. But for us and other visitors to Siem Reap, that "less" is really more, and we intend to return as often as we are able.
