Foggy Lodge offered everything we could have wanted in a vacation and more. It was peaceful, fun and picturesque. We loved the house, enjoyed the land, water and kayaks. We even kayakes with the Loons. I cant express enough the great hospitality from the owners, they were like long time friends and the beauty of the home and the surrounding. We made many memories. Thank you tons to the Fogg family.

Another wonderful EIGHT days at Foggy Lodge! Thank you so much for sharing your lakeside home! This year, we liked and enjoyed the kayaks the most!

Great Vacation Spot

Foggy Lodge* is a delightful place to be. The furnishings and the ambiance are perfect for a lakeside retreat in Maine—convenient kitchen and eating area, spacious living room, deck, screen porch and three lovely bedrooms. Nothing that a guest could want has been overlooked. From hair dryer to outdoor grill, from flat screen to Foosball to kayaks, it’s all right there. My two children and my three grandchildren and I had a terrific week. I highly recommend Foggy Lodge, from having blueberry muffins and coffee on the porch first thing in the morning to lying in bed and listening to the call of the loons at night. Everything in between was also grand—hiking, swimming, boating and just hangin’ out. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home! We’ll be back!
*My family and I occasionally lapse into referring to Foggy Lodge as Foggy Bottom. It’s the only other “Foggy” we know and is a stop on the tube system in Washington DC. “Foggy Bottom” is where our capital was built so many years ago! “Foggy” was famous then, and it is famous now!
