The staff were very nice. The executive suite had a nice Murphy bed, which was very comfortable. The hotel is a little old, but it's more quaint than something negative. Parking was excellent. Restuarant food is good, (Salad bad could use some help ;-) They are very pet friendly, their are areas for pets. The only problem I had was a late checkout. I asked for 1:00 checkout and they came early when I was not there. Housekeeping either took my food, or threw it away that was left in the frig, and anything else I may have left behind, thinking I would be back. But they front desk were very honest, and tried to do everything they could to make us comfortable. Nice place to visit to just relax

When we got to our hotel we were told they only had us booked for 1 night and I showed them the reservation and was told I would have to check out the next day and then check back in the next afternoon and pay additional because the other room was an upgrade because it had a fireplace - really in July? We went to our room and the carpeting was very old and dirty. The room was also old and in need of updates, repairs. The hot tub was an enclosed room in the parking lot and did not work and had cold water. We decided to only stay the one night it was so awful and when I checked out I asked the front desk person for a comment card and was told they did not have any.

A convenient place to stop if you're visiting or passing through Taos. On the highway just south of Taos, and away from the traffic and crowds that are often found in town. Some nice authentic southwestern architecture, hot tubs, attractive rooms and a bar make this one of our favorites. Georgia O'Keefe lived and painted here for a short time.

The room was very large and very well furnished in a tasteful southwestern design. My room also had a balcony with a great view of the sunset. Be sure to check out the art collection in the dining room...it should be a museum. Absolutely amazing!!
