We fly into Omaha several times a year to see family that is 4 hours away from the city. Often, we will fly and stay the night in one of the hotels closer to the airport. I took a chance on the Element this time because the price was fantastic and the description and reviews were great. Thankfully, it lived up to everything we read. Easy to get to from the airport (through the city but easy to navigate), great staff, cool decor (very modern and Eurpoean/IKEA like), FANTASTIC breakfast, awesome bed. Not much to do around the hotel itself, but doesn't matter for us.
Concerns....The hotel has a pretty strong odor. Not bad, not good. Just chemical smell? Odd since it is an Eco-Friendly hotel. I have migraines so I notice these things. Also, our shower was definitely NOT cleaned after the last person who stayed there. I would have complained about the multiple pieces of hair left in the shower but it was late at night and I was tired. Next, if you stay on the street side, it will be noisy!!!!! Last, parking is $6-$8/night. Didn't know that until check in. No big deal, though.
All in all, a great find. Will go back again!
