My friend and I stayed here for a few days in December. It was our first trip to NYC and we chose this hotel for the price and proximity to the subway. The hotel itself was very nice its fairly new the rooms were very clean and comfortably sized for two girls. The staff was nice enough and willing to help us get to wherever we were trying to go in the city. That being said when I said the train was nearby it is literally right next to the building. You will hear it go by if you are a light sleeper you might find that to be a nuisance. Also the area is not the greatest. Nothing happened to us and I never felt particularly threatened or unsafe in any way. On another note when we were there the elevator broke. We were on the 4th floor so it was something of an inconvenience but we hoofed it and made it by okay. Im going to hope by now theyve got it fixed. So if youre really just using the hotel as a place to keep your stuff and to sleep in at night this hotel was very satisfactory in that regard. Besides youre in New York you have better things to do than sit in your hotel.
