Born and raised in Marin County, California. Graduate from Stanford, p.g. 2 years at UC-Berkely. Moved to Italy upon marrying an Italian. Live in an incredible 1000-yr-old castle with apartments for rent between a river and a forest in Tuscany, near Siena - ideal country for trekking, mountainbiking, and above all touring and wining and dining. Raised 4 children, now all married so we have extra space which we are happy to share with our guests from all over the world.
