Private Turkey Tour

We booked a private tour with Aykut. I don’t know much about Ancient Turkey and wanted to immerse in the culture and understand the history behind the ruins. Aykut was a great source of knowledge. He gave me a in depth history lesson and painted possible stories of what life could look like back in the day with the artefact and inscriptions found by archaeologist. It was really interesting. We had lunch at a pancake house run by a local family. It was a lovely experience, the food delicious and authentic. Accompanied with the pancake was a pomegranate juice which was so refreshing. We then went to Zeytintaşı Cave which was unexpected and mind-blowing.
I highly recommend booking a tour with Aykut, he is good value. Knowledgable, friendly and professional.

12 Days Turkey trip

We recently spent an amazing 12 days with Aykut Altınışık as our tour guide in Turkey. We had a simply amazing time. Aykut was incredibly responsive and helpful in the planning and then accompanied us on a perfect 12-day trip through Turkey. He is incredibly knowledgeable about archaeology, history, culture and the people of Turkey. His English is superb and he is a simply delightful travel companion. Aykut was able to incorporate the special interests of our group in local culture and food and treated us to many special events – off the typical tourist route. We travel a lot as a family and Aykut made our trip in Turkey our best ever experience. He is very highly recommended.
