Cape Town Trike Tours

I bought this trike tour for my husband for his 60th just before we left the UK to come and live in South Africa.

What a fabulous day we had, thank you to Willem for such a well planned day out. Willem was so informative and knowledgable taking us to the main sights of Cape Town and the surrounding areas on an amazing day out. We had such fun and what a great guy Willem is to spend a day with.

We toured the coast on his unique trike the only one of its kind in Cape Town. We were lucky the weather was beautiful and so clear, which enabled us to see some stunning scenery with amazing views.

Our tour took us from Cape Town along the scenic coastal route to Cape point and included many stops, photo opportunities and sights along the way. We took a boat trip to seal island, visited Table Mountain National Park. We had lunch at Cape Point enjoying some wine (we were not driving today so we could!) and wonderful sea food.

We walked off the superb lunch we had at Cape Point during our stop at Boulders, the home of the African Penguin and had the opportunity to see many penguins close up.

Our trip then took us back towards Cape Town taking in the stunning sight of Cape Town from a fantastic view point up at Rhodes Memorial.

A totally worthwhile way to see the sights with someone who has wonderful first hand knowledge and excellent historical knowledge, information and stories to tell.

Thanks again Willem for a fabulous day and we hope to see you again soon as you visit Franschhoek on one of your other tours you provide..

What an awesome evening we had with Willem last Saturday. I surprised my wife by arranging this sunset cruise to Chapman’s peak. Willem was friendly and helpful from the start and we soon felt at ease both on and off the trike. A wonderful way to experience Cape Town and Chapman's Peak. We will recommend Willem for any of his tours. He is a great host. Thank you Willem for turning the evening into a special occasion. We loved it!!

Our Trike tour with Willem was amazing!!! We highly recommend it! We were able to see so many of the wonderful must-see places of Cape Town and the ride was fun! He schedules stops for food/drink and sight-seeing. He was so knowledgeable about the area as he was born and raised there. If we come back to Cape Town, we will do this again! Worth every penny, if not more!

I was looking for something different to do for my engagement and came across Cape Town Trike Tours and knew this was perfect for the occasion. Willem the owner and the one taking you on the trip was friendly and helpful from the start. He asked me where and when to pick us up and was there on time as promised. We took the Cape Point tour and it was very fun and Willem as a registered tour guide was very informative and knows his history and facts about the area. Our last stop was at Rhodes memorial where I asked my fiance the big question (and she said yes). Willem even surprised us with a bottle of Champagne and 2 branded Trike Tours glasses to celebrate. Overall our experience with Willem and Cape Town Trike Tours was more than great and I would recommend them to everyone.

A last minute find on the internet had us booking a trip with Willem on a full day trike tour . Wow what a great find he was . The only trike tour in South Africa . And what a great day we had riding through some of the most amazing scenery on the planet . Spectacular !!! I felt totally comfortable on the back of the trike ( not getting any younger at 55!!)... Willem being a long time local knows everything about the area. His knowledge as a tour guide / chauffeur was outstanding .
This is an absolute 'must do' . Thanks again Willem for such an awesome day

We had a great evening. The trike was exciting and fun. Wilem agreed to make a detour to come fetch us in Muizenberg. He was very nice and informative. We will definitely do this again. Oh, and the snaks were tasty. Thanks Wilem!

Picked up on from the hotel super spring day and instantly made at home by Willem.

Off through the town constantly turning heads as we were chauffeured down the coast and up the stunning Chapman's Peak stopping for photo opps in the best places on the way.

Wrap up warm we were told and as we arrived at Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve we found out why - not called The Cape of Storms without reason.

Back to Cape Town via Boulders Beach, Simon's Town and Able Seaman Just Nuisance, Fish Hoek and stopping of at the Rhodes Memorial with final fantastic views of the city, the day just flew past.

If you want to feel the wind on your face while having a great time this tour is a must.

Fantastic day out on the back of a Trike.
The only way to see Cape Town.
Willem picked us up at 9am prompt from our guest house.Remember to dress up warm .Willem was so friendly and a fantastic sorce of knowledge. Just loved his Yellow Boom Trike .He is the only one in Cape Town with this unique bike and tour.we were treated like royalty.
We did the Cape point and Peninsula tour.
Approximately 8 hours .
Very scenic starting in Cape Town and visiting Houts Bay , going up to Chapman's Peak .We stopped for plenty of photos opportunities and had a coffee break and lunch out.on the way bsck we stopped at Boulders Beach (penguins stop so cute ).we went through Simons town Fish Hoek and Mulzenberg. Finally finished at The Rhodes Memorial and then back to our guest house.A fantastic day out .Willem was excellent. If we come back to Cape Town definitely will be doing another tour with him.
He also does tours to Hermanus,Cape Wine tours .
Had a brilliant time the day flew past so fast.
