This tour starts from the minute you get to town. Firstly an eye opening trip to markets, loads of fresh produce , flowers, and even skinned frogs. Then you go by boat to island and have a short walk to the ecolodge where you unpack and rest for a bit before you geab your bike and head for the homestay.The lovely family that runs it will cook you lunch and then you can rest for a bit before your catfishing experience begins.Dressed in traditional fishing gear you slide into a mud pond and catch by hand your dinner for evening..(havnt laughed so hard).After a hose off and a showerits a bicycle ride back to ecolodge to have another shower before a cooking class.Meals are great...location is beautiful...went to sleep that night listening to geckos barking, crickets and other animals...
Staff were awsome and our guide was the best.Definitely a must do
