We went ATV with our guide Neal. We had a great experience. This was my first time and I was a little scared but Neal made me feel very safe. You have to go through some trial runs (and have to be able to do it) before you can go into the trails. You will go up and down all kinds of hills, valleys, trails, tree roots, steep and flat areas. You will get dirty so be prepared. Overall very fun.

My wife surprised me with the idea of going on an ATV. I've always wanted to but as a naturally anxious guy I was just nervous about it, just as I am about anything I do for the first time. So she set us up reservations and I waited for the day. The day came and so did the forecast of rain. I was a bit apprehensive.

Then there was Neil (or Neal?, never asked for a spelling). He was to be our guide along the tour, and it just so happened that it was only my wife and I that day. It was looking like rain but he let us know that he had been through things before on the trails, and it kind of put our mind at ease. Plus, we came for an adventure, so let's go all out.

Neil taught both my wife and I how to ride an ATV and was a good instructor. He was also just a nice guy and real personable. It wasn't all business, he wanted to make sure we had a good time. He made us comfortable out there.

It did rain, and to be honest, it made it all even better. It was more of an adventure with the mud and the puddles. Neil made sure we were having fun and doing alright throughout the trip.

Thanks for taking two city people that have never really been out on something like that before and showing us a good time. You made that part of the birthday awesome. I was nervous going in and couldn't stop smiling when I left. My wife had a great time too. We WILL be back, probably for another ATV tour, and next time we'll have some clue what we're doing. Thank you to everyone we met there. Everyone was nice and helpful.

We have been out a few times on the buggies but decided to do the ATVs this time. Matt was our guide and he was terrific. He knows the property extremely well and was extremely personable. The owner has been on the property nearly every time we have visited -- often giving tours himself. The ATVs all seemed to be in good condition and they performed very well on the hills.
