Local Surf Maroc - Surf, Yoga, Fitness Holidays - Reviews

After stumbling across Rach's beautiful home, myself and my boyfriend decided we absolutely must stay there, despite having no plans of how long we would be there for. Rach was kind enough to take us in during his own personal holiday and catered to us in the highest possible standard. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible and was easily the best we had eaten during our several weeks travelling in Morocco. He and his wife treated us as friends opposed to guests - we went to the beach together, chatted, and they went out of their way to give us surf lessons when, again, they were enjoying a personal holiday of their own. The room was cosy and clean, and the balcony was so incredible that we spent the majority of our days sat up there! After originally only planning to stay in Tamraght for one night, we fell in love with the town and Rach and Christiana's amazing hospitality, and ended up saying for there for the rest of our trip! I couldn't recommend this place more. I will be returning to Local Surf Maroc again, hopefully next year, this time with my family!

I found Local Surf Maroc from a random google search. How lucky I was! The house is very comfortable, and Mohammed’s Tagines are to die for. Rachid is a perfect host and does an amazing surf guiding job! I was not lucky with the waves on the week I was there, but we road every day to different spots, and even took a long trip to the south. The most amazing couple of days I had in a long time. A very special Moroccan experience!

Wir können das Local Surf Maroc Hostel jedem sehr empfehlen! Die komplette Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, die Betten sind super bequem, es gibt normale Bettwäsche, eine heiße Dusche, eine große Dachterrasse, auf der man das mehr als ausreichende Frühstück genießen kann. Rachid ist ein unglaublich toller und witziger Gastgeber, der sich Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt, einen auf Märkte begleitet, traditionell kocht und jederzeit Empfehlungen für Ausflüge hat. Seine Qualitäten als Surflehrer werden wir beim nächsten Besuch im Juni sicherlich testen :)

Couldn't have asked for better hosts! Rach and Mo went above and beyond for us, whether it was the cooking, the hangouts, the exploring or the surfing, everything was on point. They provided a taxi pickup from the airport, showed us around their local town, gave personal surf lessons on the daily and still managed to have enough energy to show us the night life in local towns. House was clean, spacious and had an epic rooftop patio. It truly was an amazing experience, one that won't be forgotten! Wasn't much of a surfer prior to this trip, but I look forward to the next wave..

Of all the trips I've done over the years, I've never met hosts as accommodating as Rach and Mo. Between Mo's unreal cooking and Rach's coaching, Local Surf Maroc has set the bar ridiculously high.

Pros:
- Genuine surf coaching from an ex-pro surfer (Rach)
- Authentic mouth watering meals prepared with love (Mo)
- Non surf excursions and trips available
- Pet friendly (if you inform them while booking, they will accommodate)
- Comfortable house that feels like home

Cons:
- Having to leave was just depressing

I never thought I'd stand of a surf board within a week, let alone be surfing greens and turning. Unlike other coaches that can be seen watching their students from ashore, Rach was always in the water with us. Under his constant guidance, tips and on the spot coaching as you paddle to ride the wave, Rach never left our side. A real respect for the art of coaching.

As for Mo, I want to thank you sincerely for turning the Surf House into a place we could call home for the week. I hindsight, I don't think I've been spoiled this much in a long time, and I loved every moment of it.

Thank you Local Surf Maroc. I can't wait to book my next stay with you soon!
