We are next door to an oldfashioned ice cream parlor that has been in operation since 1896, a coffeehouse, and art gallery open June thru Oct. Across the street is a pillared white church and an old house museum. Essex Steam Train & Riverboat, Essex Village, Chamard Vineyards, Connecticut River Museum, Florence Griswold Museum, and the factory outlet malls are only 10 min. away. There are many other things to do as well such as antiqueing, playhouses, Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun Casinos, Gillette Castle, state parks, wineries, spas, Mystic Seaport, Village & Aquarium, shopping, canoeing, biking, etc.
