For those unfamiliar with the island, Martha's Vineyard is shaped like a triangle, 20 miles at the base and 10 miles tall West Chop is at the tip of the triangle. West Chop is approx. 1 mile north of downtown Vineyard Haven, which is 3.5 miles from Oak Bluffs and 7 miles from Edgartown. Tashmoo Cove is an exclusive development of 20 triplexes (60 luxury homes) and extensive recreational facilities spread out on 107 acres. The land is bordered by the West Chop Woods (conservation land), the Mink Meadows Golf Course, Lake Tashmoo (really a Cove but called a lake), and the Vineyard Sound.
