When it comes to our Rafting Adventures, you will have two choices depending on the time of year. You can either participate in a Whitewater section of the Lehigh River, or you can enjoy a deeper, more mild section ofthe river. The following are brief descriptions of the Rafting Adventures we offer1. Wild Dam Release Whitewater This a technical whitewater trip containing Class II and III rapids. You and your group will battle seventeen major rapids on the exciting Lehigh River while enjoying twelve miles of exhilarating scenery. This trip is the perfect blend of serenity, wilderness, and natural exercise! 2. FamilyStyle Whitewater This is the perfect adventure youth groups, beginners, and families. You will challenge the mild waters on this eight mile section of the dazzling Lehigh River. Relax in the warm sun and enjoy the enchanting surroundings, maybe even have a water fight. There are also some flat water areas where swimming is a MUST!! The most unique thing about this extraordinary adventure is that it includes a FREE, AllYouCanEat barbecue lunch. Deer Path Riding Stable offers a relaxing and scenic ride through the Pocono forest. It's a great way to enjoy the beautiful Pocono outdoors. Our trails meander through fields and woods full of freshwater springs, mountain laurel, and rhododendron. Deer and wild turkey are often seen. Gentle horses, friendly, helpful guides and an "easy does it" pace make our ride suitable even for the first time rider. Our rides are geared towards people who are looking to spend some leisurely, pleasant time on a horse. We always go along at an easy walk and jog pace. The rides are scheduled for one hour, including the time allowed to get you settled on the horse and give you some basic instructions. Time out on the trail is usually about 45 minutes.
