If you are interested in the more adventurous pursuit of canoeing and kayaking, you'll enjoy the Saugeen. There are events on a regular basis, weekly activities, fishing, golf, outdoor concerts, art, history, classic cars, shopping, tennis, old fashioned market and much, much more. You'll find a real steam train in Port Elgin. This miniature 24 gauge steam engine and cars take you for a one mile ride along the waterfront.
