Albany is located in south central Wisconsin's Hidden Valley region, in beautiful Green County just two hours or less from the Chicago, Milwaukee and Dubuque areas.
Albany is less than an hour from the House on the Rock, Mount Horeb, Dodgeville, Cambridge and Mineral Point and less than 30 minutes from New Glarus, Madison & Monroe.
The Sugar River, which runs through Albany is excellent for canoeing and canoe rentals are available locally.
Albany is midway on the Sugar River State Trail, and complementary bikes are available for traveling the trail's 21 miles.
Nearby are cheese factdories, a micro brewery, antique shops, golf courses and Amish and Swiss communities.
