Located only one hour from the United States border, on the west coast of Canada, and in the province of British Columbia, Vancouver is the 3rd largest city of Canada with a population of about 1.5m (city) to 3 m. (surrounds). Widely regarded as Canada's most scenic city, Vancouver enjoys a pleasant and mild climate with little snow in the winter and 30?c in the summer.

The Institute is the only adult ESL school to offer FREE, weekly Friday activities in conjunction with its English programme. Students may choose from over 120 activities, anything from skiing lessons to horseback trails, golf to scuba diving lessons, camping to computer classes, and tours to Victoria and Whistler. Everything is included transport, lessons, tours, equipment, entrance fees and, in some cases, meals too. Individually these can cost over $100 each at other schools. As an alternative, students may also choose from academic classes on Fridays at no extra cost.

General Description
Every year, students of all ages (1675 years), and from many countries and professions, attend Eurolingua's numerous language, cultural, special interest and summer programmes worldwide. Students include private individuals, mature teenagers, university and MBA students, teachers, doctors, professional and business people, corporate executives, diplomats and embassy staff, government employees, military personnel and retired people.

OnetoOne Homestays (1675 years)
Live and study abroad for 1 to 4 weeks, on a fullboard basis, in the private family residence of a Eurolingua tutor. You benefit from intensive onetoone, professional language tuition, enjoy local excursions and share usual family social, cultural and leisure activities. Total immersion in the language, culture and way of life is guaranteed. We collect you at and return you to the nearest airport or railway station. Programmes are available all year.

Group Programmes (1675 years)
You benefit from a minimum of 15 hours (20 lessons) per week tuition in small friendly groups at one of our Institutes, with cultural visits and leisure activities. In order to maintain linguistic and cultural continuity, accommodation is with a selected, local host family. Studio apartments are also available. Open all year, with and special programmes during the summer.
