For those unfamiliar with the island, Martha's Vineyard is shaped like a triangle, 20 miles at the base and 10 miles tall West Chop is at the tip of the triangle. West Chop is approx. 1 mile north of downtown Vineyard Haven, which is 3.5 miles from Oak Bluffs and 7 miles from Edgartown.
