Day 1
Upon arrival in Cairo airport, we meet and assist you with your entry formalities then transfer you to you chosen 5star hotel in Cairo.

Day 2
After a pretour meeting we take you on a full day tour to the Pyramids, Sphinx in Gisa and to Zosers steop pyramid in Saqqara. Your guide for the day will be a fully trained Egyptologist.

Day 3
Today we visit the sprawling Egyptian Museum, with its world famous Tutankhamen collection. We then take a tour of Cairo city, stopping at the Citadel, the Khan al Kalili bazaar and the churches of Choptic Cario. At the end of the day we board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan (flight option available).

Day 4
Arriving in Aswan we transfer you to your chosen 5star hotel. The rest of the day is spent visiting the Nubian Museum, which give an interesting insight into the day to day lives of the local Nubians, and the island temple of Philae, situated on the nearby Lake Nasser.

Day 5 6
Early this morning there is the option to take a short flight to Abu Simbel and the Temple of Ramses II, reclaimed form the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Later in the morning we board our luxury 5star cruise boat. In the afternoon we enjoy a felucca trip to the islands around Aswan, before setting sail down the Nile. En route we stop at the riverside temples of Komombo and Edfu before finally arriving in Luxor.

Day 7
Early this morning we head across to the West bank of the Nile to explore the world famous Valley of the Kings, visiting a number of Pharonic tombs. We also stop at the temple of Queen Hatchepsut, Egypts only female Pharaoh, and the Medinat Habu temples, before heading back across the Nile to Luxor.

Day 8
This morning we take a tour of the East bank at Luxor. This will include visits to the Temples of Luxor & Karnak. Both these impressive temples are immense in size and stand as a testament to the power and might of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. The option of a sunrise hot air balloon ride is also available today. At the end of the day we board our overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 9
Today is a free day in Cairo. You can enjoy it at your leisure or take and optional day trip to nearby Alexandria, which is most famous for its Citadel and Roman remains. Alternatively there is the optional overnight desert trip to the Al Fayoum Oasis, Wadi Rayan and the Valley of the Whales.

Day 10
Your last day is free to do some last minute shopping or a little more sightseeing, before we transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.

Karnak Light & Sound The trip takes place in the evening and you have a choice of travelling to Karnak by taxi or caleche (a horse drawn carriage). The whole temple and grounds are bathed in light whilst listening to the story of the temple. $10 per person




Luxor West Bank Tours




The West Bank Tour I Visit the Valley of the Kings. Visit three tombs, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. On your private tour you will be collected from your hotel or apartment by an airconditioned mini bus and you have your own Egyptologist guide. You can take your time with your tour and enjoy the amazing historical sites. It is also possible to visit the tomb of King Tutankhamen on this visit. $30 per person







The West Bank Tour II Ramesseum, Medinet Habu, and either Deir el Medina or The Valley of the Queens. Dendara and Abydos Tours



Dendara & Abydos (full day) Begin the day with a visit to Abydos. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. Then continue to Dendara to visit the Temple of Hathor. $50 per person







Dendara Temple (1/2 Day) This temple is about 1 hour north of Luxor and this makes for a quieter visit. Your Airconditioned minibus and a guide will collect you from your hotel or apartment. You then join the convoy to Dendara and make the journey north. This is a special temple surrounded by the desert it also has wonderful ceiling paintings. $30 per person




Aswan and Abu Simbel Tours




Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo, Aswan Dam & Philae Temple (1 Day) In your own private airconditioned minibus you will travel out by convoy, and return by first class train at 6pm. Your guide will take you to visit Edfu then Kom Ombo temples. You will then visit the High Dam in Aswan and the Island Temple of Philae. You will then board your train and return to Luxor at 930pm. Your Egyptologist guide will stay with you the whole time. $80 per person








Abu Simbel, Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo, Aswan Dam & Philae Temple (2 Days) After collection from your hotel or apartment in your own private airconditioned mini bus you will join the convoy out to Edfu and Kom Ombo temples. Then you visit Philae with an option to see the Unfinished Obelix. There is an overnight stay in a 3star hotel before you journey by minibus to Abu Simbal. You return to Aswan and have a light lunch before the return by convoy to Luxor arriving back at 6pm $150 per person







Abu Simbel Travel in convoy from Aswan on A/C minibus to see the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel. Your guide will begin to explain the history of the site. As one of the few ancient Egyptian sites which largely escaped destruction and damage by past invaders of the country, the interior of both temples at Abu Simbel is astounding. The attraction of the temples is further enhanced by their scenic location on the edge of Lake Nasser. After visiting the temples there may be time for a short visit to the small visitor's center which documents the UNESCO relocation project, before returning to the minibus for the drive back to Aswan. The drive is approximately 3 hours each way. $50 per person

Balloon tour/Luxor


Balloon Flight at Dawn You will be collected from your hotel or apartment and cross the Nile by motorboat. There is a safety talk over a light breakfast of coffee & cake. You will fly from Queen Hatshepsuts temple over the West Bank. After the flight there is a small celebration and you are presented with a certificate of the flight and a T shirt. All transport and insurance is provided. We use the same balloon company as the leading UK travel agents in Luxor. $60 per person




Nile tours

Romantic Dinner on the Nile Evening on a motorboat, with food and drink included. You get a panoramic view of Luxor at night, very special. $30 per person

Felucca Sailing Picnic (1/2 Day) Visit Banana Island and then have a picnic on a sandbank in the middle of the Nile. You glide quietly along the Nile with a chance to see local life as you pass by. $25 per person

Felucca Sailing Sunset (2 Hour) In your own private felucca you can enjoy the peace and quiet of sailing on the Nile and see the glorious sunset. $10 per person

Motorboat Sailing (1/2 Day) You visit Banana Island and then have a picnic on a sandbank in the middle of the Nile. Taking the motorboat means there is the possibility to visit Bird Island further up river near the Luxor Bridge. $25 per person
