Gary has 35 years experience working in the wilderness and navigating backwoods roads, 15 of those years as Recreation Officer for the Ministry of Forests on Southern Vancouver Island. Ronda's interests include aboriginal history & culture and early European settlement of the area.

We have a variety of programs that explore the different ecosystems on Vancouver Island. Our backpacking adventures spend the tour in the backwoods sleeping under the stars. Many of our programs are multisport adventures where people can choose to stay at bed and breakfasts, lodges or campgrounds. Day activities include kayaking, whale watching, bear watching, biking and hiking. All programs have an ecological focus. All the tours are all inclusive, including food, transportation, associated tour costs, accommodations and all guiding considerations.
