At the beginning of the first millennium, Ephesus was one of the largest and certainly one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean. On arrival at the site we take a leisurely walk around, visiting all the main historical buildings and the famous amphitheater. The stone paved main street through the center, with its rows of shops each side, makes it easy to imagine the days when Anthony and Cleopatra walked on the same stones. At lunch time we visit a traditional restaurant for a traditional Turkish meal. A side visit to the House of the Virgin Mary nearby can be included for a nominal extra amount. Available from April to October. Depart from Bodrum every Wednesday and Saturday at 07:00 and return at 18:00. Pick-up and drop-of in your hotel in Bodrum, Cruise port or harbor.
