This is the real Mexico
We've been going to Baja for years, but never expected the amazing scenerey and ease of becoming part of the real Mexico. The house is great, far enough away from the nearest neighbors to be private, yet just a 10 minute walk to the village where the cowboys still drink beer on their horses! We don't ride, but enjoyed the endless places to walk and the abundance of wildlife.

Enjoy it while you can before the rest of the tourists find this hidden gem!

The real Mexico
This is what we were looking for. In many years of travelling through Mexico we always wondered what it would be like to be part of the little villages that make up most of the country. Moonbeam Ranch gave us that experience. The horses were great, the house nice, not fancy but well equipped, but the real show here is the chance to ride into the village, have a beer with the folks. The "staff", Gala our full time cook/ cleaner/helper and David, the cowhand were great about introducing us to the local folks and after a few days we felt we belonged. Our lack of Spanish was a bit hard, but inspiring to learn more!

A wonderful adventure! The house is lovely, but what you would expect in the middle of hundreds of acres of beautiful valleys and mountains. The guide, David, unfortunately doesn't speak English, but his great sense of humor comes through and he is a great teacher and cowboy. Highly recommended for the adventurous spirit or just a relaxing with the magical views from the terrace.
