Established in 1874 near the Jean Louis Legare Trading Post, it was from this North West Mounted Police that Inspector James Morrow Walsh maintained watch over some 5000 Sioux Warriors who sought refuge in Canada after the Battle of the Little Big Horn. This historic site is professionally staffed from May until September.
