We will pick you up from your hotel in the Arenal Volcano area. Your adventure guide will point our interesting things along the way and tell you a little about our safety policies. You'll then arrive to the Río Balsa river at our private put-in with restrooms and changing rooms for your convenience. One of our friendly, professional, bilingual Costa Rican adventure guides will give you thorough instructions on what to do while you're on the river. You'll then be given your high-quality adventure gear (Pro-Tec helmet, NRS life-jacket and paddle.) Once you do some practice strokes, you're off to have the time of your life paddling down one of Costa Rica’s best rivers for whitewater and wildlife! You’ll be on the water for about 2 to 2.5 hours along 10 kilometers of lush Costa Rican rainforest.You’ll finish up with a delicious spread of fresh, tropical fruit and then we take you for an exclusive Cultour cultural lunch at the historical La Casona de Río Fortuna!
