Southgate Hockey Camping near the 2012 Olympics, stay in one of our pre-erected tents!
There is plenty of green space to camp as well as all the facilities you need to make your stay comfortable including: free parking, free hot showers, toilets, washing up area, 24 hour security and access to laundry facilities.
Hot drinks and snacks are available to campers including breakfast and our bar is at your disposal for relaxing with fellow campers.
We have large screen TVs covering all the Olympic action and BBQ nights after a day spent enjoying the Games!
One of the best parts is that by staying at Southgate HC is that there is also an opportunity to play sport as well as watch it as the club will be hosting a range of hockey activities! You will also be supporting community sports as your pitch fees go straight back into developing grass roots sports in the local area - what better Olympic legacy!

The Hockey Club is easily accessible via public transport and car.
By public transport: Oakwood tube station is the penultimate station at the northern end of the Piccadilly Line. Buses 121, 307, 517 and N91 stop at the station. As you leave the station, turn right. 75m across the road you will see the turning for Snakes Lane, (signposted Middlesex University). The Centre is 10-15 minutes walk along the lane.
By Car from the M25: turn off at Junction 24, signposted for Potters Bar. Take the A111 towards Cockfosters. Drive for about 3 miles through Cockfosters. At the first roundabout turn left along Bramley Road, the A110. Continue for half a mile or so until you reach traffic lights. Oakwood tube station is on your right. Go straight on at the lights and take the first left, which is almost opposite the tube station. The Centre is about half a mile into the park on the left.
