BRIEF ITINERARY
Night 1: Overnight train to Lao Cai
Day 1: Drive to Sapa/Trek to Muong Hoa Valley
Day 2: Trek to Ban Khoang Village â€" Ta Giang Phinh. Overnight train back to Hanoi
Day 3: Arrive in Hanoi. Tour concludes

Our adventure typically starts with a night train ride from Hanoi Railway Station (B Gate - Tran Quy Cap street). Before that, our guide and car transfer will collect you from your hotel or a pick up point. You will need to be at Railway station at least 45 minute prior to departure. Our train often leaves at 20.30 - 21.50. Your cabin is air conditioning, sharing, 4 berth by default but you can request us to upgrade to private charter. Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin.

Day 1: Transfer to Sapa â€" Trek to Muong Hoa Valley & 4hrs hiking
Arrive in Lao Cai around 5.30 am. We will take 1hr bus ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town, we have breakfast in local restaurant and prepare for driving for a short road transfer to the trek point. Trek uphill on a large and rocky path for 2 hours along the narrow valley which runs between two high mountains passing two hamlets of the Black H’mong of Sa Pa Commune: Sau Chua and Sa Seng. Lunch in the village.
After lunch, we continue along the same trail gradually uphill the Den Thang mountain for an hour to Hang Da Village of the H’mong which sits at 1,800m height and over looking down the Muong Hoa Valley. Then, we enjoy easy walk on high elevation for half an hour which offers great view of Muong Hoa Valley until arriving to Thao Hong Den, another village of the Black H’mong.
We trek downhill for another hour along a dirt track to Pho Village at the center of Hau Thao Commune. Back to Giang Ta Chai for dinner and overnight in the local house.

Day 2: Trek to Ban Khoang â€" Ta Giang Phinh - Night train to Hanoi & 4hrs hiking
We will have breakfast in the local house before embarking upon another day of adventure. Today we trek on Sapa's northwards with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan, Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms before arriving to Ban Khoang. It is a village of the Red Zao ethnic peoples who live their unique way of life and well maintain their traditional values. We stay over an hour walking to explore this remote village for a brief understanding of local life. We leave Ban Khoang and process along the road for about 10km to Ta Giang Phinh valley inhabited by the Black Hmong who live in some small villages scattering along a peaceful stream.
We enjoy lunch on the bank of a stream before hiking along village path which connects village to village to witness daily activities of local life such as plough and harrow the fields, growing, harvesting or doing some house work. In leisure months men often gather to built new houses or repair parts of old ones while women stay home making their traditional costumes. We back to Sapa in mid afternoon, In the late afternoon, we transfer to Lao Cai for night train back to Hanoi.
