Located on a natural lookout, 750 metres above sea level, with splendid views over Sellano and the little villages surrounding the green valley below, the Vallemela Residence stands in the walled hamlet of Montesanto, which during the 15th Century was an imposing castle on the border between the Duchy of Spoleto and the Dukedome of Camerino. Admiring the wall surrounding the castle and the church you can still recognize the remains of its past splendour. Divided into three apartments, the house is an excellent example of the harmony between past and present: externally the property retains its original architectural features (solid walls, squared stones, arches and little windows) while the interior has been carefully restored combining a seductive atmosphere of warmth and comfort with a great sense of history.Guests can enjoy the breathtaking view over the valley from a well-tended garden where it is easy to find a secluded spot to read a book or drink a glass of fine wine. The apartments share a gazebo, barbecue and swimming pool (10 x 5 m), all set in panoramic surrounding.Near Valnerina and close to the National Park of "Monti Sibillini", the Residence beckons to explore the serene nature, where country roads wind through astonishing views over thickly wooded areas, colourful meadows, springs and ponds.
