The Nelson House Bed and Breakfast is located 20 minutes from Halifax International airport in theasmall town of Stewiacke. We have 3 beautiful and scenic golf courses with 10 minutes and walking trails within walking distance. The Tidal Bore Rafting and Tidal Bore viewing is a 20 minute drive from us.

Our Bed and Breakfast is a century home with leaded stain glass windows and we have a large sweeping veranda. Extensive lawns provide a lovely place to take a stroll and many perennial gardens, trees and shrubs provide a pleasant scene.

Our rooms are sunny and bright, with private bathrooms, window fans, wifi, large fleecy robes, cable television and coffee and tea.

We are a non smoking property but guests may smoke outside on the lawn.

Stewiacke, located half way between the Equator and the North Pole, is centrally located in Nova Scotia on the Glooscap Trail and is only 25 minutes, door to door, from the Halifax International Airport. We are on your way to New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton and Newfoundland via Highway 104. We are within minutes of three great golf courses.
