Ohrid is located in the south-western part of Macedonia, on the banks of Lake Ohrid.

It is one of the most ancient towns of Europe, flavored with the taste of the past centuries, proud on its cultural heritage and the unique lake, both belonging to the UNESCO\'s World Natural and Cultural Heritage.

About the apartment!
If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in Ohrid, you already found it.
Apartment Kate is a small flat situated in the very center of Ohrid, 30 meter from the lake and 5 minutes walking from the square and main shopping street.
It\'s well connected to the beaches, lake is very near, you don\'t need any taxi to go to the center or to the old part of the town.
There is free parking place if you are coming with a car, motorbike, bike.
Also, the Apartment is highly hygienic whit basic kitchen equipment, bathroom, balcony, cable TV, refrigerator, heating, hair-dryer, iron, soap, toilet paper, fresh and clean towels and bedclothes...
There are a green market, super markets, restaurants, cafe bars, pizzerias, banks, automated machines and the other primary objects near by the apartment.
We will be happy to provide you with the all necessary information about the culture heritage, you shouldn\'t miss too see during your stay in Ohrid. An also we could organize a taxi tour to thous places for a cheaper price.

Apartment Kate is located in the very center of the city (30m. from the lake), near the Commercial Bank (see the map), on Partizanska Street, between hotels Royal and Palas.
You can call or e-mail before arriving - time. Contact details will be in your confirmation email. If you are unsure of where you are, ask locals where is Commercial Bank, or contact me and I will come to meet you.
Its possible to arrange transportation from or to Airport Ohrid or if you like we can pick you up from the bus station.You can call or e-mail before arriving - time. Airport pick up will be charged 2 euro per person.
You can reach Ohrid easily by plane in Ohrid Airport, or its very close to Albanian border and Greece border so you can use Tessaloniki and Tirana airport to come here, its less than 4 hours driving from both directions.
P.S. The bus station now is at new location. If you have some guide book as Lonely Planet the map is not correct. The bus station now is 1.5km from the city center if you like you can walk or take a taxi. If you take a taxi the price for the transportation should be under 1 euro (60 denars) to take you directly to my apartment.
If you came by bus sometimes people will try to get you to go to another place or they are too pushy. This is a common problem and causes a lot of disappointment to the guests not used to this - so informing you in advance can help prevent this.
