Named by National Geographic as one of top ten white water rivers of the world, 28 miles with almost non-stop rapids. There's rafting, white water kayaking, and duckies -- a fun way to learn the essentials of kayaking, or great for kids on the Pejibaye river, nearby.
Turrialba Volcano is the most active volcano in Costa Rica, with continuous steam eruptions. You can ascend to the base of the volcano, to the cloud forest.
There's canyoning _ waterfalls, ropes, harnesses, gravity and TRUST. World class mountain bike competitions are here as well.
