Be prepared for the ultimate Horse Pack Trip adventure! You have the opportunity to choose between 4 or 7 Day Pack Trips to our 25 alpine Camps situated in the South Chilcotin Mountains Provincial Park. We have a 5000 square kilometer operation area and all the trails start and end at our ranch. We have a dry climate here with almost no rain and bugs. From Novice to Intermediate we will find the perfect trip for you.
Typical Day
You'll ride into the backcountry like an explorer with pack horses in tow, traveling the mountains in nomadic style. Follow game trails, cross rivers, and enjoy open-air lunches with the world's best views as you travel on horseback to mountain-top passes, through wide U-shaped valleys with their mosaic of wildflowers, wild hay meadows, and big-game mineral licks. One of our licensed and qualified Guides will lead you through the astonishing nature with all it's wildlife. Bring your camera for photo opportunities abound with sweeping vistas, turquoise green glaciers, snow caves, and abundant wildlife including mountain goats, bighorn sheep, mule deer, moose, wolf, grizzly, and black bear. If you love fishing, let us know and we'll select your camp according to a suitable lake or stream.
If you prefer to stay at the ranch during your vacation you also have the opportunity to book a ranch based package.
So you can enjoy the variety of activities we offer at the ranch. As day rides, bareback riding, target shooting, archery, swim in a nearby lake, feed the horses, role the hay, gold panning and lots more.

Age range, type of group
All are welcome. We cater for individuals, families with children of all ages, couples and groups up to 35. Whether young or old we have a wilderness adventure for you.
Sleeping and meals
Accommodation will be provided in our rustic western style ranch house with three hearty meals a day. The western Style Ranch House offers 5 Ensuite rooms and 4 twin/Bunk configuration and there are also opportunities for you to Upgrade to a private log cabin 1 or 3 bedroom log cabin. If you are up to a camp based pack trip you will stay in one of our 25 alpine Camps which range from log cabins on the side of a pristine lake or nestled into the mountains to canvas tent camps or spike camps where it is just you, the stars and the natural world around you.
Restrictions
We are a non-smoking facility and environment that encourages a healthy lifestyle with the connection to the nature and the wilderness. We are a smoke free facility so there is no smoking in the ranch house or cabins. We do not provide or sell alcohol.
We do not have a strict no pet policy, we take this on a case by case basis. But with 40 horses on the premises much of the time we do not recommend or always allow dogs, please check with us prior to booking.
