Itinerary
Day 1 (Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park / Timpohon Gate / Laban Rata)
Pick up from hotel lobby at 0630-0645 hours and transfer to Kinabalu Park. Upon arrival, register with the Park office and then continue to the Power Station by coach (approx. 15 minutes) for the start of the climb. Commence climb to Laban Rata with packed lunch. The climb will take approximately 4 hours. Check-in at the Mountain Guesthouse. Free at leisure for the rest of evening.
Meal - Pack Lunch / Dinner
Day 2 (Lows Peak / Descent Mt Kinabalu / Kota Kinabalu)
Wake up as early as 0200 hours and commence to the summit by torchlight. The climb will take about 3 hours. Use the RANAU TRAIL. Witness the beautiful sunrise from the summit. Descend to Laban Rata Guesthouse for your breakfast, then to the Power Station. Transfer to Park HQ and lunch at local restaurant. Collect your certificate before transfer back to hotel at Kota Kinabalu
