Accommodationskeyboard_double_arrow_up
The Iris Inn is a purpose-built Virginia bed and breakfast. Each building was placed on the property with care to afford you the best view from each room of the beautiful mountain terrain that surrounds the inn on all sides.

It's as if you have your own, personal overlook just outside your room. A third-story tower offers a hammock or a two-person lounger, where you can relax and gaze out at the very best views.

You will not find a re-purposed, cramped room anywhere at the Iris Inn. Instead, each room, cottage, and cabin was designed with you in mind. Spacious, quiet, and roomy, with lots of windows and doors that lead to expansive outdoor decks.

Air conditioning and heat are controlled by you and are specific to your room. Each room has a king bed, Wi-Fi, flat-screen HD TVs, DVD players, refrigerators, writing desks, private baths with hair dryers, and comfortable sitting areas.

The Iris Inn is in an ideal location. Although we are nestled back in the woods, we are only 12 miles east of Staunton, VA, 25 miles west of Charlottesville, and 3 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive. As an added bonus, our road is literally less than 2 miles away from I-64. Within minutes you can make your way to so many things to do & see including natural attractions, a huge variety of restaurants, wineries and breweries, historic downtown tours, shopping centers, and theaters. To find our inn from I-64 East, take Exit 96 towards Waynesboro/Lyndhurst, and then turn right. From I-64 West, take Exit 96, and turn left. Chinquapin Drive will be the first road on the left after you have turned off of the exit. Once you are on Chinquapin Drive, our driveway is about 3/10 of a mile on the left. “This Inn is easy to get to, but secluded enough to make it a quiet, relaxing place to unwind. There are so many interesting places to visit in the area.” "Trip Advisor Review “The location is superb if you love the outdoors" Skyline Drive to the north and Blue Ridge Parkway to the south. There are many wineries in the area and a couple of breweries" all were great!” M.P, Tripadvisor
