Surrounding Area
We offer for your enjoyment our swimming pool and the poolside BBQ, which is a warm and friendly spot to kick back and enjoy playing cards or just plain relaxing with a good book, this pool and rancho area also has a great view of the mountains and often allows you to see wild birds like parrots or toucans.
We are located 200 yards off the highway, in a gated, guarded property, on the direct bus route to San Jose where you can catch a connecting bus to anywhere in Costa Rica. We have plenty of parking space and we will help you with any info you need. Just let us know your plan and we will be glad to help.
We are 3 miles away from route 27 so if you have a car and want to get to the beach of Jaco for example it will take you only 1 hour.
If you are taking lessons in San Jose you can get in and out of town by bus and it will cost you 2 bucks each way( cant beat that) !! We always help our guests with banking info and any general needs they might have. We rent to a lot of couples that want to get away from the cold and so we do offer monthly rates.

The light and cozy living rooms are perfect for watching cable TV or curling up with a book.
All units have a pull-out bed for an extra guest.
The kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, gas stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots, pans and dishes, linen, soap and starter spices. Guests can cook all or some of their meals during their stay.
Our one bedroom suites can feature a lovely bedroom with a double bed, perfect for a single person or couple, or a Double.
We are currently projecting Villa Rita as a goat milk farm, pesticide free hydroponics and a horse carriage service. We are a birdwatcher paradise.

Map & Directions
When you leave the airport you take the high way to Jaco, When you arrive to the Manolos intersection you must ramp off to the right and immediaty take a left over the high way to continue to La Garita, which is on the way to the City of Atenas after the Manolos intersection you will drive about 1 and half miles and you will see a soccer field to your left hand side, stay heading west for 300 mts more you will find us on your right hand side after Centro Comerial La Garita ( local convenience store and pharmacy) we are 2 gates down from these stores. We are on the right hand side you will see two light pink columns that will say "Villa Rita", turn in and drive up the drive way.
