A horseback riding vacation at Linden Tree Retreat & Ranch will, without a doubt, be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. Our wranglers at the Ranch are well versed in Natural Horsemanship and love sharing their passion for horseback riding with guests of all different experience levels. From our typical 2-hour trail ride to our all-day rides, you are bound to never tire from the stunning Velebit Nature Park, UNESCO protected Biosphere Reserve, which totals over 250 000 hectares. If trail riding is not quite your calling, we have the answer for that as well. We proudly offer a multitude of lessons, workshops and clinics back at the ranch, from colt starting to horsemanship workshops.
No matter how much or how little experience you may have, all riders go through a brief orientation before getting on their horse. This helps bring horses back into our minds, and allows us to begin our journey to becoming better riders. One of the most important aspects of horseback riding at Linden Tree is woven throughout our entire horse program: Natural Horsemanship. Although the term itself is often overused and misunderstood, we relate this closely with what we consider our own variation, Linden Tree Horsemanship. What this means to the guest is that the experience is bound to go far beyond that of a typical head-to-tail ride. Your understanding of communication between yourself and your horse is what will be not only discovered, but also advanced and understood. In this gorgeous wilderness setting, we welcome only a select few guests at a time. The Ranch is completely immersed in the wilderness, with the steady hum of nature all around. Our secluded hideaway is set on 25 hectares of private pastures and forests nestled inside 250 000 hectares of UNESCO Biosphere reserve.
Accommodations are in harmony with the best of ranch living and feature amenities where guests can relax after experiencing a day of horse riding in Croatia and adventures in wilderness. Our diverse selection of accommodation facilities offers the fulfillment of all types desires and preferences in terms of the ideal and harmonic holiday in nature.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF ACCOMODATION FACILITIES OFFERED ON OUR RANCH:
Distinctive accommodations include rooms, suites, chalet and cowboy tipis. They all feature beds dressed with soft linens, private baths (tipi bathrooms are detached), porches and mountain views. This way you can focus on enjoying your time at the Ranch rather than occupying your mind with add-on costs. This plan is most popular with families and individuals who make the Ranch their home for a duration of their visit to Croatia, since it allows them a freedom to explore all but most distant corners of the country, while returning for a relaxed evening at the ranch. If you want to enjoy Adriatic coast but want to avoid bugs, humidity and crowds, this plan is a perfect fit for you.
