"Ayahuasca" is the term used to describe a home-brewed tea made from 2 or more psychoactive plants that grow in the Amazon rain forest of South America. Hawaii and the Pacific Islands, however, have their own set of indigenous entheogens (psychotropic plants that induce a spiritual experience aimed at, literally, "becoming one with God"). The Master Teaching Plants we work with are comparable to South American ayahuasca and have been used for thousands of years in sacred rituals, healing practices, and spiritual ceremonies in Hawaii and this part of the world.
Where South American ayhuausca is illegal to consume and/or distribute in Hawaii, in most countries of the world, and in the majority of States of the Union, the plant teachers we work with on the Big Island of Hawaii are psychotropic, psychoactive, entheogenic (literally, "becoming divine within") -- and they are 100% legal. These are Master Plants that have not yet been scheduled by the FDA or the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and they are not being suppressed by law enforcement.
