Lincoln Park Guest House - Map

TAXIS: are plentiful and easy to hail near the Guest House. Cabs may also be reserved in advance for pickup.

TRANSPORTATION: The house is easily accessible from airports and expressways. A CTA train station servicing the Red, Purple and Brown line trains is two blocks from the Guest House. The Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park and the Loop are minutes away by these el and subway lines which can transport you from Wrigley Field to the White Sox in a single ride. Three bus lines stop within one block of the House: the Lincoln 11, Halsted 08 and Fullerton 74.

Arriving via AUTO
From the Kennedy Expressway (I 90 / I 94):
Exit Fullerton Ave and travel east 1.7 miles to Halsted Street. Turn right (south) on Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.

From Lake Shore Drive (Route 41):
Exit Fullerton Parkway to travel west 3/4 mile to Halsted Street. Turn left (south) onto Halsted; half-way down the block (0.1 mile) on left side of street.

PARKING: Free, unrestricted parking is available on Halsted Street. Parking also available on adjacent Belden Avenue, for which we will provide a free parking permit. There is a self-park garage on the next block at 2316 North Lincoln Avenue.

Arriving via Midway or O'Hare Airports, in order by economics
The house is 17 miles from O'Hare International Airport and 13 miles from Midway Airport.

$ - CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) trains run directly from both of Chicago's airports and are an extension of the city's convenient subway and elevated train system
$$ - Airport buses cater to hotel guests and will take you to your specified destination
$$$ - Taxis are plentiful from Midway and O'Hare Airports; travel time is 30 - 60 minutes
$$$$ - Private car and limo service can be arranged in advance

Arriving from Airports via PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
From Chicago's Midway and O'Hare Airports: Travel from airport terminals via CTA trains is approximately 45 - 60 minutes. Purchase tickets from vending machines in the station. Trains generally run 24 hours. Fare is approximately US $2.

Board the CTA Orange Line at Midway Airport. Exit at the State/Lake station in the Loop to the Red Line subway station. Station attendants will assist and advise you to get a transfer, exit the station, and walk down stairs to the State Street subway entrance to the Red Line Lake Street station. Board the Red Line traveling NORTH. Exit at the Fullerton station.

Board the CTA Blue Line at O'Hare Airport. Exit at the Jackson station in the Loop. In the station, descend stairs to walk through the underground passageway one block to ascend stairs to the Red Line Jackson station. Board the Red Line traveling NORTH. Exit at the Fullerton station. See below.

From the CTA Fullerton Station which serves the Red, Purple, and Brown Lines:
Exit Fullerton station to street level. Walk east two blocks to the six-way intersection of Fullerton Parkway, Lincoln Avenue and Halsted Street. Turn right (south) on Halsted Street; one-half block to the yellow stucco Guest House, 2319.
