Romania is the country with the largest population of brown bears in Europe, located in the range of Carpathian Mountains. The world record for this species, for fur belongs to Romania(687.79 CIC/1983) and for skull belonged to this country between 1994-2000(69.47 CIC)
We also have the largest Chamois subspecies in Europe the word record was taken in Romania in 1934(141,1 CIC)
Large wild boars can be hunted during driven and a high-seat hunts.Other game species can be found as: red deer,wolves, roe deer,capercaillie and small game to as :hare, pheasant....etc
