We are a husband and wife team, launching Algonquin Treks in 2009. We are outdoor enthusiasts, photographers and writers. In addition to our thirty-plus years of canoe trekking experience, we have had professional careers in teaching, outdoor education, conservation and environmental studies. Certifications include Wilderness First Responder, Ontario Recreational Canoeing and Kayak Association basic Canoe and Canadian Style Paddling Level 1, Moving Water Level 1, and Canoe Trip Leader Level 3.
