Looking at the outside of this hotel, you wouldn't know just how nice and comfortable it is. The decor is truly tropical--we spent some time just admiring the artwork on the walls around the hallways and rooms. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Our room had 3 queen size beds and was clean and quite spacious. Additionally, we were very impressed at the amenities offered: free wifi and computers, free international calls, free bottled water in the rooms, free airport shuttle, an exercise room, a quaint upstairs living/sitting room with a little library of books. There's a pool and an indoor patio area with a koi pond. The free breakfast was excellent--cooked to order, attractively plated, delicious with generous portions. We stayed here only one night, our last one in Costa Rica, and we definitely felt welcomed and at home at this terrific little inn. The interior design and decor of the physical building as well as the friendly staff and service made this a memorable end to our vacation. Additionally, Eric, the owner, was really good about responding to our e-mails before we booked our reservations.

We only stayed here one night at the end of our trip in Costa Rica, but was really impressed. The front desk staff was really helpful, the on-site restaurant served good food, and the rooms were huge! Very clean and comfortable. We didn't get to enjoy the pool, but it was really pretty out there. We had to leave so early in the morning we would have missed breakfast - they were kind enough to prepare us a "to-go" box to take with us.

When my wife and I arrive in San Jose from U S the Adventure Inn is the perfect Hotel to stay for us and our two small dogs before traveling another 3 1/2 hours. The staff there are very friendly and the hotel has an area of rooms on the first floor for guest that have pets. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The comp breakfast in the morning is excellent at their on-site restaurant. Our dinner was also very good. If you would like to take a swim the pool is large, cool and clean. We will be back the night before we leave San Jose for our trip home. They also will provide a shuttle van service to and from the airport. we love the Adventure Inn !!

This conveniently located gem has all the amenities required, friendly and bilingual staff, large rooms and above all, is as clean as a whistle. Great for families and budget conscious travelers. And a pretty good breakfast to boot.

I never write reviews which says alot. Adventure Inn was great! While we only stayed our last night there I would definately stay there again. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the beds comfortable. Service was EXCELLENT! We had to leave at 3:30AM to catch a flight and the staff was nice enough to have ready made breakfasts to take with us. It was great!

We have stayed at the Adventure Inn twice. Both times was exceptional. The second time we went the front receptionist remembered us. Yanett in the restaurant remembered us and greeted us with a hug. When I have emailed Eric the owner he answers quickly and is so polite. He made us feel not only welcomed but like they were honored for us to be coming. The rooms are large, beds are very comfortable and everyone on staff are very friendly. They helped us with difficult situations, delayed planes & having to change our reservations while we sat in the airports. We won't stay anywhere else when in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Needed a hotel for a night before leaving Costa Rica. Great choice. Could be used for anyone needing a hotel approximately 10 minutes from the San Jose Airport. Clean, spacious room. Very good air conditioning, nice flat screen TV. Had nice dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
Small, but well equipped exercise room (2 bikes and isotonic equipment). Four fast computers with easy internet connection, and book exchange for readers. Comfortable beds . . . made our stay a good one.
