Montana Creek Campground - Reviews

This is a nice campground and close to Talkeetna. The campground is a pretty place with a small store. The people were very nice and helpful. The guy who takes care of the grounds came over and helped us get set up and get our picnic table by the camper. There is a stream behind the campground where my boys fished for a while. It has trout in it as they caught a small one in a short amount of time. There are sites in the open and some that are wooded. Our open site was very nice and level. There is wi-fi, but have to sit at the table by the store. Not a big problem. We did not have a water hookup, but had electric. No dump site or flush toilets. They had port-a-pots. Again, not a big deal. There was a black bear in the area. Very nice place, would stay there again.

I love this place it is a great place to stay and they are great people there to help you. We stayed there for over aweek last year and we will make it back in afew years.Thanks again Montana creek Jack & louise Armstrong
