English Courses in your Teacher's Home by the Sea

Living and learning English in your teacher's home is the best way to improve your English in a short space of time. Each course is custom-designed around students' needs and requirements so that you can focus on your particular areas and weaknesses.

This type of Immersion Course offers you plenty of opportunity to practice English in a natural environment both inside and outside the classroom.

Following a relaxed breakfast in the garden, lessons start at 9a.m. and continue to 12.30 with a half an hour break. Lessons may either be held inside or outdoors, depending on students' preferences. In the afternoons, students are free to explore the island or may prefer to do some assigned work. In this case, your teacher will assign you a mixture of grammar & vocabulary, reading and listening or video-based work.

This course is suited to students of all ages. Should you wish to make a booking for a little mini-group, students may be split according to ability during lesson time. For this reason, this course is popular with families and colleagues.

We have 3 rooms for our guests which include a Twin Room with a Shower Ensuite, and a Single Room on the second floor. There is also a Double bedroom on the first floor. The shared bathroom is on the first floor. There is a table and chairs on the roof terrace where students may relax, smoke or do homework. Additional household facilities include a large Dining / Sitting Room and the garden yard.

Breakfast consists of yoghurt, cereal, toast, jam, tea and coffee on a help yourself basis. Family meals are a mixture of traditional English roasts, salads, Asian food, pasta and local dishes.

Smoking area is on the roof terrace.

Just up the road from the Sliema sea front promenade. Turn up the road at Tower Palace Hotel. We're in the second block.
