Wild Wing Plantation

The Avocet is a course where each hole is memorable for its enjoyment, aesthetics and playability. All 18 holes are challenging, but fair tests of the player's skills. Creative contouring presents elevated tees and greens, double fairways, grass bunkers and even a double green serving two holes. Water plays a strategic role in the design of the Avocet and with all par 5's and par 3's orienting to different points on the compass, each season's prevailing winds come into play. Multiple tees on each hole offer endless and ever changing challenges.

Designed by Willard Byrd, the Wood Stork course creates a parkland setting in an expanse of land previously untouched except by native wildlife. Special attention was paid to conservation and to the lay of the land, natural vegetation and water resources, resulting in a unique golf experience which plays the first 8 holes through wetlands and the remaining 10 through a majestic pine forest.

World renowned golf course architect, Rees Jones states "The 18 green complexes on the Falcon may well be the best I have ever designed." This course is modern, yet traditional in style, with extensive mounding creating a sense of privacy on every hole. The front nine and back nine both feature a separate large lake more than 25 acres in size. However, the most dominant single element on all of Wild Wing is the 515 yard bunker that separates the 12th and 13th holes on the Falcon. This course guarantees a very pleasant, challenging and exciting experience for golfers of all skill levels.

The Hummingbird course integrates the area's natural beauty with interesting and challenging golf. In this classic links style, wetlands combine with stands of love grass and other native grasses to form the course's perimeter, complementing lush green fairways. Strategically placed lakes, open fairways and four sets of tees, as well as an array of waste bunkers, add to the challenge and intrigue of this course.

Depending upon the course, time of year, and time of day, green and cart fees range from $30 - $125.
