Orillia is nestled between two fabulous lakes, and we are right on the Trent-Severn Canal, so boat, fish, swim or watch our clean clear waters. An hour and a half from the big city amenities of Toronto, and a good stop-over between Niagara Falls and Algonquin Park,you can see it all from Orillia. We are within ten minutes drive of Casinorama,several excellent restaurants, the plays held at the Orillia Opera House and Orillia's picturesque downtown. We are on the Trans-Canada Trail system, so from the end of our block, you can hike, bike or jog through parkland.The Stephen Leacock museum is within walking (or canoing!) distance, as is a family restaurant and free transportation to the casino.Farmer's markets, antiques, crafts,flea-markets,farm tours, horse-
back riding,star-gazing-come see it all, or relax at the end of the dock and let the world pass you by!

We are right on the water, in a cottage setting. Our home is modern, with a large deck and lawn sweeping to the waterfront. There is seating in sun or shade, and you can be as private or as social as you prefer.The guest great-room has a VCR,TV,fireplace,lending library, assorted board games,comfortable seating and reading lights-and overlooks the lake.On the deck, a patio table and a number of seating areas are provided, and arrangements can be made to use the gas barbecue. A picnic table nestles on the lawn, and another patio table awaits at the end of the dock. There's a slate seating circle under the trees where you can enjoy the firepit in the evenings, or a quiet moment anytime,Docking for your boat or sea-plane is included,and our drive-way accomodates a car & trailer. Off-road parking is provided for all our guests.

We have three guest rooms, and can accomodate 6 adults, or add a seventh, with a little notice. Each room has colour TV and cable. The garden room has a queen-size bed and large windows, through which one looks out over the lawn to the lake;it is on the ground floor,adjacent to the great room,dining area and kitchen.The lakeside room,on the second floor, has a queen-size bed, a view through the trees to the lake, a seperate seating/reading area, as well as an in-room sink. These two rooms benefit from the lake breezes and are equippes with ceiling fans. The suite is a large room with either twin or king-size bed arrangement. It has a seperate seating/reading area,a desk and chair,large walk-in closet, and ensuite bath.It is air=conditioned for your comfort. A comfortable single bed can be added to any room, with a little notice,(and at additional cost).

We can locate and arrange almost any service/ammenity for our guests, either to be delivered to our home, or at sites within ten minutes from us. There are numerous good restaurants in all price ranges nearby. The Orillia Square Mall offers one-stop shopping for most needs, and Orillia supports all varieties of specialty shops and markets.The Casino is open 24 hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and other night spots exist as well.The ski hills are withina half-hour and we offer discount ski&stay packages in conjunction with Mt St Louis
Moonstone.We also cater to boaters and pilots especially-docking is included in our prices, and we have joined with Budget Car & Truck Rentals to provide drive&stay packages at reduced rates.We try to anticipate your needs, but will be happy to investigate/arrange services specific to your trip.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks are always available.
Arrangements can be made to use the kitchen for preparation of other meals, or to use the gas barbecue as well.
Iron and ironing aboard, sewing kits,fax machine, telephone,and most anything you may have forgotten, can be provided.
We enjoy helping in special celebrations-we've done anniversaries,honeymoons,birthdays, and we'd love to help with yours.

We have a gentle,old Lab/Greyhound mutt,Naomi, and so cannot accomodate guest pets.
Smoking is only possible outside the house.
We cater specifically to adults, but please enquire about travelling with children-although we do not have the facillities to accomodate infants or toddlers, we will try to accomodate your family if we have enough notice .
Please let us know if you have any special requirements or food allergies at time of booking, so that we may assure a comfortable, healthy stay. We can easily accomodate mobility impaired guest, as, although
our premises are not wheel-chair accessible, one guest room (Garden room),the dining room, guest great-room, deck and garden are all only one or two steps up/down.
