The village of Stamfordham is found 15 miles due west of Newcastle upon Tyne. Follow the A69 trunk road west until Stamfordham is signed. Then 4 miles north through scenic country lanes.
The international Airport is 6 miles east. Ferry ports to Europe are close to Newcastle.
