The Leadville Country Inn

Majestic mountains surround this historic mining city--the highest incorporated city in the continential United States. With an average 330 days of sunshine a year there is a vast variety of outdoor activities--hiking, mountain biking, fishing, winter sports, visiting ghost towns, the old mine sites,as well as museums, antique and speciality shops,

There is a gazebo in the gardens--a lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea and listen to the summer song birds.
Common rooms include living room with TV and dining room.

Each bedroom is named for a famous person from the Victorian era that had an impact on Leadville--Molly Brown and her family members, Polly Pry,The Lillian Mine, etc. The rooms are filled with mementos from the past--antique furniture from the local area, 1800s wool wheel, old dolls, elephant collectibles, and English pub tables to name a few. The rooms look out over the rooftops to the snow-capped mountains.
